We have recently added a Urei 1176LN limiter (circa 1980) to our arsenal of vintage gear! We've also upgraded our Pro Tools rig to the Digidesign 003 Rack system running version 7.3.1 software.

The new Tyson and the Friction EP, Listen to the Braintrust, is now available online and locally through Co-Op Records. Produced by Tyson Markley, this EP was recorded and mixed in a 5-day marathon session at Chocolate Ladyland in late April by Jeff Gregory.

The debut mixtape from Squad, We Open, is also currently available at Co-Op. Recorded and mixed at Chocolate Ladyland, this mixtape also features production work by Jeff Gregory on the track, "I Get Around".

Production has wrapped on Revenge of the Skabs, the new album by Peoria punk rockers, The Skabs. Recorded and mixed at Chocolate Ladyland and mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering in Chicago, this Black and Blue Records release is scheduled to hit stores sometime in late August/early September.

Two Girls, Hinter, Kuwahara, Tina Sparkle, Tyson and the Friction, Lollester Rocket and Evil Eye Honeytree were in the studio recording and mixing tracks with Jeff Gregory and Dave Moe for an upcoming compilation from our friends at LiveMusicPeoria.org.

On the production front, Dave and Jeff recently completed production work for the new Super 88 album, Light it Up, a new Tina Sparkle EP, and two new Bloody and the Transfusions songs to be included as bonus tracks for a compilation on Black and Blue records. They have also been hard at work producing tracks for Sin Wagon, Kuwahara, The Bugs, The Winter Estate, Andrew Greenway, and Bob Payne.
